DJs Play Park – Soft Play in Hemel Hempstead

I’m really not usually a massive fan of soft play but actually really liked the space at DJs Play Park in Hemel Hempstead! It was really busy and the kids were obviously enjoying themselves but the adults seating area wasn’t too noisy, which was really pleasant :). As far as soft play goes it’s reasonably priced and you don’t have to pay to pay for adults (something that I HATE at other soft play’s). Under 1’s are free, with a paying sibling, which is good and they have jumperoos and bouncers dotted around the seating area to keep them happy.  It is more suitable for younger children (would say its for under 10’s at the most) so its nice and safe if you have smaller ones.

The whole area is really nice, clean and light (not dingy at all like some) and although there’s lots of different areas for the kids to enjoy they haven’t crammed in so much that the adults in the seating area cant see anything which makes it easy to keep an eye on your children’s whereabouts, even from a distance. The staff were also good and seemed to care.

The under 2’s area was really good! (one of the best i have seen) and they hold special events during the week so i image it would be really nice to go with pre schooler’s. Other areas include a main play frame for over 4’s, go karts (at an additional cost), ball games area and a really cute little village play area with a cafe, vet and school (plus more). They also have party rooms.

PRICES

Under 1’s – £3 (free with a paying sibling)

2 years – £6

If you, like me, have had bad experiences at soft play then you can be confident that this one is different and I would definitely recommend it. Would be nice to visit with little ones now the weather is getting colder.
