I am really excited to announce the launch of my first book ‘Elsie’s Rocket to the Moon’ – available to buy now.
This children’s picture book is a delightful story about a little girl that builds a rocket out of boxes in her room and lets her imagination take her up to the moon – but it has a a surprising turn!
The book is suitable for children aged 2-6 and has rhyming verses and beautiful illustrations that make it fun and engaging to read for both parents and children. It would make a lovely and unique gift.

My inspiration
As a mum of 2 girls I noticed early on that in children’s literature there is a lack of female characters that aren’t either princesses, mermaids or fairies or kick ass girls who are tough. This leaves a huge gap for our children (both girls and boys) to experience diverse female characters.
Elsie’s Rocket to the Moon features a little girl that is just a normal child. She likes building and she likes to pretend – she just happens to be a girl.
