Milton Keynes Play Association – Free Easter Play Sessions

I’ve always been a big fan of the work that MKPA do. They are a charity organisation that focus heavily on the well being, development and enjoyment of all children, through play. Their sessions encourage child centric play, allowing children to direct their own play in an open, free and accessible environment.
Their holiday sessions are free and often have inflatables (bouncy castles, slides), art and craft activities, sports activities including Tag rugby and Korf Ball and the Wikidizer (at selected venues). They are free sessions and are really lovely for kids to get involved in. The staff are really passionate about their ethos and that really comes out in the work they do and the sessions they run.
In addition to their free holiday Parish Play Sessions they have also started to do ‘Craft Events’ at MKPA Kiln Farm. The Februrary half term Craft Events were a huge success and included, a creative table (making out of scrap) and crafts including making play dough and dream catchers. These sessions unfortunately aren’t funded by Parish Councils. Therefore, there is a small fee to attend (£1 per child over 5).
