Getting into the Christmas spirit is the best part in my opinion! last week my daughters and I sat down and made a list of the things they wanted to do to build up to Christmas so I thought I would share in case anyone needed inspiration.

Countdown to Christmas
18th November
- Make Christmas cake – here is a link to the one we are doing that is alcohol free
25th November
- Make Christmas cards
- Make Christmas crafts – This is a link to a cute box full or goodies! We made some of these already from Hobbycraft, you can buy different bits (my girls just chose the same bits) to make them your own. Obviously there’s loads of ideas of things you could do.
2nd December
- Bake Christmas gingerbread – here is a simple recipe
- Wear Christmas socks
- Make paper snowflakes (like so….though they never look like this!)
9th December
- Decorate a gingerbread house – you can buy one if you didn’t fancy making it
- Have an indoor snowball fight – I bought some like this from B&M that were actually cheaper so might be worth looking around if you wanted to do this
16th December
- Decorate Christmas cake
- Drive around and look at Christmas lights
23rd December
- Watch a Christmas film in a den with hot chocolate
- Christmas games night
